in Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine Webinar
Optimizing Supply Chain Management with Sales and Operations Planning
Date: April 3, 2007
Time: 1:00 pm, Eastern
Standard Time
Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) has the attention of top business leaders today. Many companies try to embrace S&OP and its supporting technology without first ensuring efficiency in their supply chain processes. This often leads to unbalanced supply and demand plans, missed goals and targets and an overall unsuccessful S&OP. However, top performing companies are re-examining the importance of supply chain planning to achieve best practice. In particular they are focusing on the demand plan to ensure a solid base for S&OP.
Join us to hear Colin Snow from Ventana Research discuss the latest
research on S&OP and Richard Herrin from Syngenta to discuss how they
implemented John Galt's S&OP as a front end to their SAP R3 system
and what best practices they have adapted since first implementing
five years ago
In this free webinar you will learn:
- What is the latest research on S&OP best practices
- How technology supports the process
- How to build a sold base for your S&OP using Demand Planning

SMITHFIELD, VA: Smithfield Packing Co. has selected John Galt Solutions
