As a Supply Chain / Demand Planning Implementation Consultant with John Galt Solutions, you will undoubtedly work with one of the most successful and exciting implementation teams in the industry. A successful candidate will possess strong knowledge in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, S&OP and Inventory Management, and the ability to demonstrate application of real world knowledge to a variety of business processes in different industries is essential. This position will require up to 40% travel, as well as excellent communication, customer service, and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years proven experience with Supply Chain / Demand Planning business processes and solving business problems, ERP solutions, and supply chain management optimization
  • Excellent communication, reporting and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in full Project Life Cycle, from requirements gathering to go-live
  • At least 2+ years consulting experience with medium-size companies
  • Proven experience in delivering projects on time and in budget
  • Exposure to Microsoft business environments as well as SQL
  • Experience with supply chain software implementations is a plus

Responsibilites:

  • Consult customers on supply chain practices and develop best practice solutions and process methodology for their needs in the John Galt product environment
  • Delivery of projects on-time and in-budget
  • Participate in the requirements gathering process, ensuring clear understanding of clients’ requirements and manage customer expectations
  • Create and modify procedural and system documentation throughout the project life cycle
  • Ensures the system provides required business functions and provides ongoing support to customers during and post-implementation via phone and e-mail.
  • Provide client training on product
  • Configure John Galt’s products per customer specification document
  • Install and configure our software products, perform user training for our software and customized reporting
  • Support the rollout phase of the product Implementations, and create supplemental documentation
  • Give feedback to development department regarding innovations and improvements to the software
  • Give feedback to sales and marketing teams
  • Participate in the QA process of the Implementation, focusing on data validation

Implementation Consultant/Database Developer

As a Technical Implementation Consultant with John Galt Solutions, you will undoubtedly work with one of the most successful and exciting implementation teams in the industry. It is essential that the individual possess excellent communication, technical, trouble-shooting, and customer services skills. This job is located in our Chicago office and will require approximately 40% travel.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, Business or Computer degrees preferred
  • Knowledgeable of Windows platform and experience supporting Internet Information Services (ISS)
  • Minimum of two years experience with Microsoft SQL server: Knowledgeable in coding, debugging, and tuning of stored procedures, views, SSIS packages, scripts and ad-hoc queries using Transact-SQL
  • At least two years experience with reporting/ business intelligence tools, including COGNOS, Business Objects, Microsoft Analysis Services, extensive pivot table reporting in Excel, and Crystal Reports
  • Knowledge in Supply Chain Planning and Demand Planning is a plus
  • Experience in Implementation Consulting with Medium Size Companies is a plus

Responsibilites:

  • Install and configure our software products, perform user training for our software and customized reporting
  • Configure John Galt’s Atlas Planning products per customer specification document
  • Build stored procedures, views and data movement routines in SQL Server 2000, 2005
  • Participate in the requirements gathering process
  • Perform database optimization for our customers
  • Participate in the QA process of the Implementation, focusing on data validation
  • Build customized reports in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
  • Support the rollout phase of the product Implementations, and create technical documentation
  • Give feedback to development department regarding innovations and improvements to the software
  • Give feedback to sales and marketing teams

Sr. Sales Associate

As a Sr. Sales Associate, you will be responsible for strategizing and executing the sales process of our high end applications for new and existing customers. You will be expected to bring your knowledge and experience in software sales to the table. Former sales experience with supply chain planning, CRM or business analytics software is a huge plus. Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of consistently closing deals and meeting sales quotas
  • Excellent presentation, communication, client relationship management and negotiation skills
  • 4-5 years of software sales experience as well as inside and outside sales
  • Understanding of the Supply Chain Industry
  • Experience in interfacing from the Director level to "C" level clients
  • Experience with Miller Heiman
  • Stable work history is mandatory
  • Aggressive and Money Motivated

  • Selling supply chain software to the mid market and Fortune 500 Companies
  • Successfully navigate prospective deals through the entire sales process from start to close
  • Strategically position the sales process by understanding customers' pain points and proposing solutions to fit their needs
  • Lead discovery calls with customers
  • Maintain $1.5M - $2M pipeline
