John Galt’s Walk, Drive, Fly methodology delivers lasting value to our customers
by providing them a mechanism to continually grow and assess their business.
Walk, Drive, Fly is a combination of services and sales forecasting software that allows customers
to grow their processes in a series of measured steps.
WALK
– Identify and Create
John Galt believes that the base of any plan is its forecast. In the Walk
stage, John Galt introduces its customers to the ForecastX
Wizard to develop quick and easy forecasts. For more advanced customers
the Walk phase concentrates on mapping out the forecasting and planning
process. With the ForecastX
Toolkit, customers will determine the forecast ability and value of
each item within the supply chain. At the
end of the Walk stage you will have your process defined and your base line
forecasts built.
DRIVE – Manage and Measure
The Drive stage guides and manages the business by means of a sound
planning process that is automated and connected to the rest of the
enterprise. John Galt introduces the Atlas
Planning Suite as the hub for your enterprise planning process.
The Demand
Management, and Inventory
Modules automate the demand and inventory planning process. Running
a business effectively involves managing the gaps that occur between
actual performance and the plan. John Galt concentrates on measuring
the effectiveness of the forecasting
process, determining appropriate stocking levels and delivering
additional supply chain flexibility. At the end of the Drive stage
you will have the ability to measure and manage the impact that your
planning process has on your business. |

FLY – Extend and Create
The Fly stage advances planning to deliver a competitive advantage
and enhances supply chain success. It extends the planning process
to sales, customers, suppliers and other entities within the extended
supply chain. We use the Planning
Portal as the vehicle for communicating results and soliciting
feedback. For more advanced customers, the Fly phase aligns the extended
supply chain using sales
and operations planning. At the end of the Fly stage your company
will be aligned to one assumption forecast and competitive information
will be used to create new opportunities. |
