Founded in 1971, Liberty University is an independent, fundamentalist
Baptist university located in Lynchburg, Virginia. Liberty University
is a Christian academic community in the tradition of evangelical
institutions of higher education. As such, Liberty continues the philosophy
of education which first gave rise to the university. Students choose
from more than 60 areas of study — from business to music, communications
to pre-med, nursing, aviation, biblical studies and more.
School of Business
Liberty University’s School of Business located in Lynchburg, Virginia
goals are to educate Business students with the values, knowledge,
and skills they need in the development of the whole person to enable
them to impact their world. The School of Business offers the following
majors and specializations: Accounting, Finance and Economics, Marketing,
Management, and Graduate Program-MBA.
