From its founding in 1908, the history of Montclair State University
located in Montclair, New Jersey, has been one of change, growth and
distinction. Recognizing the strengths of its academic programs and
faculty and the commitment to excellence in instruction and research,
the Board of Higher Education designated Montclair State a teaching
university on April 27, 1994.
With more than 250 majors, minors and concentrations, the nation's
only doctorate in pedagogy, and a unique interdisciplinary doctorate
in environmental management, MSU provides a comprehensive array of
academic programs while remaining accessible and affordable. Through
its six schools and colleges--the College of Humanities and Social

The School Of Business of Montclair State University offers a range
of nine outstanding undergraduate and five core graduate programs
that prepare students for successful careers in business, non-profit
institutions, and public service. The School is an accredited member
of the AACSB International.
