Rivier College, founded in 1933 by the Sisters of the Presentation
of Mary, is a Catholic co-educational institution of higher learning
dedicated to the education of undergraduate and graduate students
in both the liberal arts and professional courses of study. Located
in Nashua, NH, the College consists of three divisions: School of
Undergraduate Studies, School of Graduate Studies, and the Division
of Academic Outreach. The College offers More than 60 programs leading

Department of Business Administration at the Rivier College offers
a number of undergraduate and graduate degrees. ECONOMICS & BUSINESS
FORECASTING course is taught as a part of the Executive MBA in Organizational
Leadership program. The course provides methods employed in forecasting
the future state of the economy for business purposes. It provides
today’s business executive with methods and applications they can
utilize in guiding their organization’s future success. Techniques
discussed will include:
Time-series modeling, demand and sales forecasting, vector autogressive
approach, leading indicators, and scenario analysis. The appropriateness
of various techniques, recent developments in forecasting and the
links between economic forecasting and government policy are discussed.
