Founded in 1921 by the Benedictine Sisters as Villa Madonna College,
Thomas More College of Crestview Hills, Kentucky is a small, liberal
arts college that offers over 30 major areas of study. A consistent
top finisher in the U.S. News and World Report’s ‘America’s Best Colleges’
edition, Thomas More has also been included in Money magazine’s “Best
College Buys” issue. It also was recognized by the Carnegie Foundation
for Advancement of Teaching as a ‘selective liberal arts college.’
Because Thomas More is small by choice, students receive individual
attention. The small class sizes and low faculty-to-student ratios
create extraordinary opportunities to develop leadership skills, get
involved in extracurricular activities, and participate in internships,
co-op jobs and other field experiences that contribute to student’s
growth.
Business Administration
The Business Administration Programs of Study is intended to prepare
students for professional careers in business, the non-profit sector,
and government. Professionalism requires wisdom in making moral and
ethical judgments, skill in scientific analysis of problems, and the
capacity to lead and motivate others in order to reach agreed upon
objectives. The Programs of Study requires students to deal with each
of these areas in an integrated way. Experience can be gained through
participation in Co-op, practicum and internships.
