Founded by the Texas Legislature in 1969, The University of Texas
at San Antonio (San Antonio, TX) has more than 26,000 students enrolled
in 109 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, UTSA is the second-largest
component in The University of Texas System and has been one of the
state's fastest-growing public universities for much of the last decade.
UTSA offers 55 bachelor's, 41 master's and 13 doctoral degree programs,
and with seven new doctoral programs in the planning stages is rapidly
moving toward classification as a doctoral/research intensive institution.
College of Business
The College of Business at The University of Texas at San Antonio
first began offering courses in June 1973. Now, the college rates
as the region’s largest educator of business graduates. The College
of Business at the University of Texas at San Antonio is the largest
undergraduate business school in the University of Texas System and
one of the 40 largest schools of business in the United States.
The college offers a comprehensive portfolio of programs at the undergraduate,
graduate and doctoral level, and unique centers of excellence in demography,
global entrepreneurship, financial services, information assurance
and security and tourism management.
