Founded in 1875 as the Salt Lake Collegiate Institute, Westminster
College located in Salt Lake City, UT believes that quality education
comes from personal interaction in small classes, strong academics,
and a campus community devoted to the student. Today Westminster exists
as a fully independent, privately funded, nondenominational, comprehensive
liberal arts institution of higher learning and offers 30 programs
for undergraduate degrees and four graduate programs.
Gore School of Business
In addition to the Gore School of Business's undergraduate degrees
in Aviation, Business, Economics, and International Business, the
Westminster Business Program offers a variety of program emphases
for students to customize their individual academic needs. Students
can choose from several concentrations, including Accounting, Finance,
Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing, or General Business.
All students must complete an internship, practicum, or professional
portfolio to enhance their studies with practical experience. Westminster's
Business Studies program offers a B.S. degree and minor in Business
Studies. The Gore School of Business is nationally accredited by the
Association of College Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), and
continues to build upon more than 10 years of academic excellence.
